IP MPLS Internet backbone

Fibrenoire operates an IP MPLS Internet backbone from Cisco Carrier Ethernet equipment based on Cisco IP Next Generation Network (IP NGN) architecture. Convergence in case of failure is accomplished within one second to ensure increased availability. Fibrenoire has redundant equipments, and its service warranties can offer 99.99% guaranteed availability on the entire IP MPLS Internet backbone.

Only by fiber optics

Fibrenoire deploys and builds its own fiber optic network to connect its clients to the Internet backbone. Our local dedicated fiber optic loops are built to measure by Fibrenoire’s engineering and construction teams. This type of local loop allows maximum performance and flexibility, while eliminating any active equipment between the Internet backbone and the client’s site.

In places where our fiber is not present, we use the network and physical capacity of partners to reach the client site and route the traffic to our Internet backbone. In these cases, we use different technologies available on the market (EoMPLS, EoS, Optical Ethernet, ATM) to optimize the rollout costs and achieve our clients’ budget objectives.
